Lost & Found Pt. 2 | Kelly Bolton

This week’s lost & found images are from back in Sept. 2006 with Kelly Bolton in Santa Monica, CA. I had only talked to Kelly on the phone once before this shoot, so it was interesting getting to just meet a new rider and then shoot right away, but Kelly was right on point and nailed everything. Which was great, because I remember I was on a bad streak of shooting with riders who would get injured during the shoot, so I was happy there was no broken bones in the process.

Lost & Found Pt. 1 – Granada, Spain

So, I am sitting here at my computer on a somewhat rainy afternoon looking through the deep abyss of folders that make up my achieve currently. Every now and again I like to dive into my old files and see what I find. As I browse folder by folder I see a lot of images, few of which have ever been shared, so in an effort to show some photos that have been in hiding in hard-drives I am starting a lost and found collection. These will hopefully we weekly posts with collections of 2-3 images from a shoots of mine in the past. I’ll also continue to update with recent work as well, but why keep so many images hidden?

So for this first update to this collection is a group of photos from my trip to Europe back in July of 2008 with good friends of mine Dorian and Audrey. Our first stop was Granada, Spain where Audrey had been studying abroad for a few months. Walking around the narrow streets of Granada was one my first experiences overseas and it really felt like another world.

CRL Associates for Colorado Biz

Last month I got  the chance to photograph Maria Garcia Berry of CRL Associates here in Denver. She has been involved in all sorts of big projects here in Colorado, and is also on the Board of Trustees at Metro State here in Denver. So it was fun getting to chat with her for a few minutes and get her opinions on a few things.

Al White for CoBiz Magazine

Last month I photographed the director of the Colorado Office of Tourism for Colorado Biz magazine. We photographed Mr. White downtown just outside his office near the state capitol building. Formerly a state senator Mr. White as appointed as director by the new Colorado governor Mr. Hickenlooper. Here is the final layout from the magazine:

Caitlin & Jp | Wedding Preview

Its been a very busy last few weeks finishing up the semester at school, and moving into my new place. I also, just recently had the great opportunity to go back down to Albuquerque to photograph Caitlin & Jp’s wedding. They had their wedding at a very cute little bed n’ breakfast called Hacienda Vargas in Algodones, NM. We worked with some tricky weather at some points, but all in all it was a great day, and it was great to see so many friends again.
